Understanding Collective Awareness Platforms with the Maker Movement

Livrables

Conceptual, methodological and scientific framework

Deliverable of the use of CAPs approaches by the maker movement in relation to the three analytical pillars of the project: (1) organisation and governance, (2) peer and collaborative activities, and (3) value creation, as well as the potential societal value to which this is able to contribute.

Societal Impact Analysis and Sustainability Scenarios

This deliverable will summarize the project’s insights regarding different forms of governance, collaborative activities and societal impacts of CAPs as well as strategies, opportunities and threats for sustainable maker communities. It will also address the potential of CAPs approaches beyond the maker movement to other implementation areas. In contract to the analytical scientific report D6.1, it will address practitioners and policy-makers, also providing recommendations.

Dissemination, exploitation and communication plan

A detailed plan on which are the events, media and research journals in which MAKE-IT aims to be present. Many of the stakeholders are already collaborating with the members of the consortium.

Report on mapping of ICT and maker technology and its use

Covering the initial mapping of both ICT technology and related applications developed and/or used by CAPs, and 2) maker technology developed and/or used by makers. This will include the relationships and mutual complementary of the two.

Final Project Report
Advanced MAKE-IT framework for analysis, monitoring and assessment

This deliverable is an update of deliverable D2.2 based on its use in practice during the project and adapted in light of this experience, inputs from the Advisory Board, the wider CAPs and maker communities, and designed for use beyond the termination of the project.

Dissemination, exploitation and communication report

A detailed report on how the initial strategy is functioning, in order to evaluate and modify if necessary the actions and activities in relation to this WP.

Final Dissemination, exploitation and communication report

A report on the impact generated by MAKE-IT in the different channels of distribution we aim to be present. It will include detailed documentation on the different events, articles, papers, reports and other activities in which MAKE-IT has been present and had contributed to enrich the discussion around the maker movement.

CAPs and makers movement monitoring and assessment framework and tools

Deliverable for use by the maker movement during the project for deploying CAPs approaches, as well as by CAPs themselves for deploying maker activities.

Innovation Action Report

Knowledge transfer (interactive) document for actionable changes and potential improvements to the use of CAPs approaches in the maker movement.

Project Handbook including quality guidelines and RRI guidelines

This deliverable will also include an open data management plan, which will be aligned with RRI guidelines.

Report on case study findings, focusing on individual case analysis

This deliverable will include a description of the different cases being explored, the methods and tools applied and summarise the results for each of the cases, highlighting particular aspects along the three core research topics.

Final case study reports focusing on cross-case analysis

This deliverable presents the in depth cross-case analysis, highlighting the commonalities and diverging approaches of the different cases.

Report on forward scenarios of technology developments and technology use

Outlining plausible scenarios to 2021 both i) specifically related to the maker movement and ii) taking a broader perspective of CAPs implementations from other areas (e.g. health, education and transport). The forward scenarios can differentially be tailored to specific types of maker manifestations and their use of CAPs approaches.

Scientific report on CAPs implications regarding governance, peer collaboration and value creation

This report will communicate the overall findings of MAKE-IT in the three analytical pillars of organisation and governance, peer and collaborative activities, and societal value creation, including results from the case studies, action research and stakeholder reflection. The report will be a compilation of scientific publications in peer-reviewed open access journals, as well as recommendations for future research.

Report on technology support and enhancements provided to the case studies

Describing and synthesising the technology support and enhancements provided to the case studies in WP4, and how these have supported the ongoing development of the cases.
