Report on conclusions of workshops"In order to share ideas and comments of all participants two exchange workshops will be organised. Reports of these workshops will be prepared and used in Task 2.4 ""Evaluation of the training programme by internal and external experts"" and the finally optimized versions of the training modules."
List of approved key performance indicatorsKey performance indicators will be further defined in detail, listed and approved for use during the projects lifetime and beyond
Dissemination and communication planThe results of the training activities as anticipated by the ESPrIT project will benefit a wide variety of stakeholders, both within and beyond PHIT. To achieve maximal impact from the project results, we will engage the relevant stakeholders from the start of the project and employ an integrated strategy for dissemination. The strategy will be described in the Dissemination and Communication plan. Dissemination and Communication plan will detail the dissemination objectives in terms of: • Target audiences; • Appropriate mechanisms for communication; • Outputs to be disseminated; • Frequency of dissemination; • Individuals responsible for dissemination actions.
Four scientific publications in Turkish journalsAt the end of ESPrIT at least four scientific publications in Turkish journals should have been realised.
Preventive Action PlanTo reduce the risks as much as possible, the Project Management Team will prepare a Preventive Action Plan against a list of risks, which have been predicted at the start of the project.
Finally optimized versions of the training programmesThe feedback from the different target groups shortly after the delivery of the modules but also from continuous reflections will allow to produce final and optimized training programmes consisting of several modules that can be used in further training. It leads to final and optimised training programmes.
Approved research road mapPHIT will define the content of the research road map for 4 years in close collaboration with the international partners. The implementation of this research road map will cover the last two years of the project and beyond. Topics to be thought off are exposure to asbestos and prevalence of asbestosis; prevalence of lung diseases, prevalence of musculoskeletal diseases, etc.)
Quality Assurance PlanRegarding to Preventive Action Plan, a Quality Assurance Plan will be established and updated on a continuous basis. Procedures will be established before the start of the project and will be collected in Quality Assurance Plan by Project Management Team, which will be an input document applicable to all WPs. The General Assembly will periodically check the level of compliance of each WP to the Quality Assurance Plan and to authorize waivers and deviations from the general rules.
Training programme consisting of different modulesThe project will have a pool of 35 training days to be divided among the following modules : 1. a basic module for the scientific core group of 40 PHIT staff to transfer relevant knowledge of occupational health and diseases in order to improve the scientific knowledge of this group 2. a module to equip a selection of 20 PHIT staff (Group A) with a set of skills and strategies for the development of research projects and for effectively communicating the significance of their scientific activities. This module will in particular support the realisation and the output of WP 4 Scientific Excellence. 3. a module to develop the necessary knowledge and skills of 20 PHIT staff (Group B) on international coding systems for diagnosis and reporting occupational diseases, harmonising statistics and classifications. Hence, this training will help PHIT to build the enhanced information platform envisaged in WP 3 ICD+ innovation. 4. a module “Train the trainer” for 20 PHIT staff (Group C): the knowledge and skills acquired in these sessions by members from the core group will allow them to teach the material to staff members of the community health centres (= end users) elsewhere in Turkey. This “Train the trainer” concept ensures that a large number of health care professionals get high quality training and this will contribute to the impact of the project in the foreseeable future after completion
Two submitted peer reviewed publications in international journalsAt the end of ESPrIT at least two submitted peer reviewed publications in international journals should have been realised.
Report on needs for additional materials and instrumentsTo make an inventory of needs for additional materials and instruments in the field of work related health complaints and occupational diseases to be offered for transfer and use to PHIT (TNO and PHIT)
Report on the evaluation of the trainingsAfter the delivery of the training modules there will be an evaluation by the trainees and the project partners. The methodology will be discussed during the development period e.g. short questionnaire; interview with trainees. And a report on the evaluation will be prepared.
BookletAccording to outputs of Project, a limited number of guidance materials will be determined and translated. Then PHIT will choose one of them in order to publish as a booklet at least 1000 unit.
Report on exchange program3 PHIT scientists will visit Belgium and the Netherlands to collaborate with the international partners. These visits will be reported.
NewslettersIncreasing the awareness of ESPrIT project will be achieved by producing newsletters and etc. Electronic newsletters will be produced and published by every six months of Project. They will be disseminated from Project website, and PHIT’s social network.
Report on WHO project on the ICD 11 beta versionPHIT will connect to and follow the studies and decisions of the WHO project on the ICD 11 beta version. Active contribution will take place through comments on the new system and suggestions for adaptation. These efforts will lead to form a report on WHO project on the ICD 11 beta version.
Report on the comparative study of OD registration practicesComparative study of OD registration practices in Turkey, Belgium and the Netherlands. The pro’s and cons of these systems will be shared and conclusions drawn. And based on this PHIT will make a report of the findings and describe the pros and cons of these systems
Report with recommendations and an article on the findingsA report with recommendations will be made for Turkey, Belgium and the Netherlands regarding an improved surveillance system of occupational diseases. Furthermore, these findings will be described in an article by PHIT staff, mentored and coached by the international partners.
Brochures and FlyersSome hard copy brochures and flyers will be produced as hand-outs for interested in order to increase the awareness about Project.
Priority list of essential scientific questionsPHIT will define the priority list of essential scientific questions to be addressed in mutual collaboration with the international partners.
Project logo, letterheadA distinctive project identity including logo and letterhead will be developed, to be finalised by month 3.
Report on learning objectives, training content and approaches"A small group of experts from the consortium will specify the objectives, the content, the adequate training approaches of the different modules and assessments of trainees. The use, translation (estimation of 5000 pages) and adaptation of already existing learning modules from the participants’ institutes or from previous projects (such as EMUTOM-Virtual Patients- FERROSH) will be considered. The expertise and experience from the international partners, other countries and networks (MODERNET) will be used to obtain easily accessible and high quality tools. Guidelines, checklists, and protocols will be translated. all these efforts will be reported as ""report on learning objectives, training content and approaches""."
Reports of the participation in international conferencesParticipation will take place and preparation of active contributions to these networks and congresses. The participation of 3 international conferences will be reported.
Report on knowledge gapsTo make an inventory of knowledge gaps amongst PHIT staff in the field of work related health complaints and occupational diseases (TNO and PHIT)
The kick off seminar will take one day and invite al relevant national stakeholders who should be aware of the project’s existence and have a right to play. A maximum of 45 participants will be hosted and representatives of all consortia partners will take part actively. The objective of the seminar is to create awareness and support in the field for this Twinning project. Participants will be invited to participate actively in the project’s activities.
WorkshopThe workshop will be organised in order to raise awareness and be informed on project progress for all stakeholders in the second or third year of Project.
International closing conferenceDuring the last year of the project an international conference will be organised to acknowledge the results of the project to all national and international stakeholders for a maximum of 200 participants.
PHIT will define the web environment to be used for communication and dissemination. TNO has ample experience in web design and interactive participation of end users to moderate such a web environment. TNO will assist PHIT in its design, The site will be hosted by PHIT and maintained during the project’s lifetime and afterwards.
On line repository of scientific publications, documents and guidelinesA repository of ‘must read’ scientific publications, documents and guidelines available for PHIT staff and their international counterparts. A selected amount of best materials in English will be translated into Turkish. The repository will be made and published on line. The repository will be available for all PHIT staff.
