An Optimization Framework for Trajectory Based Operations

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

Mathematical model for TBO (opens in new window)

A report describing the final mathematical models and the underlying hypothesis and assumptions will be delivered. The reports will also specify how airline preferences and priorities will be specified and formalized within the model.

Final Project Results Report (opens in new window)

Report with all the project's results and implications for Decision Making will be delivered.

Heuristic algorithm for TBO Model (opens in new window)

Delivery of the best in class heuristic algorithm, with attached statistical analysis of computational performances on a large set of realistic synthetic instances.

Disturbances and operational scenarios for trajectory based operations. (opens in new window)

Report with disturbances and operational scenarios of trajectory based operations

Technical report reviewing the state of the art on ATFM (opens in new window)

The technical report will provide a complete review of mathematical models and algorithms developed for the pre-tactical ATFM. It will also include a section describing the current practice and the expectations of the stakeholders beyond the European ATM Master Plan.

Routines for data extraction and for the generation of ATFM algorithm input data (opens in new window)

This deliverable will describe the routines that will be used to extract the required data from EUROCONTROL databases and provide, in the required format, the input to the optimization algorithms.

Detailed assessment of the OptiFrame computational framework for normal and disturbance cases (opens in new window)

Report with a detailed assessment of the operational implications of the OptiFrame approach.

OptiFrame computational framework (opens in new window)

Delivery of a computational framework that combines both the heuristic algorithm – developed in Task 5.1 – and the best in class exact algorithm – developed in Task 5.2–. The computational performances on a large set of realistic synthetic instances will be also attached.

Qualitative assessment of OptiFrame models for normal and disturbance cases (opens in new window)

Report with a qualitative assessment of the operational implications of OptiFrame models.

Project Web Site (opens in new window)

The Web Site of the project will be publicly accessible.
