The goal of this project was to develop transportable optical clocks of high accuracy in order to enable the application of the new technique of relativistic geodesy.
This promises a higher accuracy and higher time resolution compared to conventional techniques.
Finalization of the design of a bi-chromatic magneto-optical trap.
The manufacturing of a vacuum chamber in-house.
Procurement of most of the relevant components.
Assenbky if the vacuum chamber and first tests.
Manufacturing and optical tests of metal mirrors.
