Methodology and guidelines on the implementation of the platform and the services and training for the use of the platform

A report on the documentation on the use of the Online S3 platform and services and on the explanation of the process and outcomes from the training of the pilot areas in the use of the platform

Open consultation and workshops: specifications from the users

A report delivering the main outcomes of the consultation process with representatives the quadruple helix. The report will deliver specifications from the users of the services.

RIS3 methodologies in the 6 steps-Conclusions from the review (WP1): specifications and designs

A report with the main conclusions drawn in the previous WP with regards to RIS3 methodologies and apps/e-services used in strategic planning, as well as with the definition of the technical specifications for the Online S3 services.

Dissemination report V1.0

Every 12 month a monitoring report will be produced and sent to project partners with suggested contingency activities and improvements. This report will also be used to update the actions for dissemination and engagement.

Specifications of the applications and tools

Report containing the specifications of the applications and tools that will provide the 18 RIS3 services. In particular, the following information will be included: functional and non-functional requirement, architecture, technical requirements, mock-ups presenting the user interface and user interactions, and information flowcharts. This report also includes the source code and the documentation of the first version of the tools. Both, code and documentation, will be hosted on the project’s repository on GitHub.

Methodologies for strategic planning at the regional level in the field of research, innovation and smart specialization – a survey. Assesment for the application to RIS3 strategies and for the use of online mechanisms and e-services

This technical paper will provide an overview of the current state of the art and degree of penetration of different methodologies used for strategic planning at regional (and national, where relevant) levels in the field of innovation and smart specialisation. This report regards also to the assessment of the broad set of methodologies applied to or applicable to RIS3 strategies. This technical paper will assess the scope, type and scale of use of online mechanisms and e-services and identify and discuss specific cases of novel methods and mechanisms used in the European regions surveyed.

Dissemination strategy and work plan. Project website and social media accounts

A report presenting the project’s dissemination strategy, the elements of visual identity and the activities to be carried out. Aggregation of a varied set of communication tools in print and digital format, including the project’s portal, brochure, newsletters, repositories and any other solution which may generate awareness and is in line with the project scope and objectives.

Final version after testing with pilots.

Exploitation and Sustainability plan

A report containg the market analysis, segmentation and proposed market strategy for exploiting and commercializing Online S3 results. Moreover it presents the individual exploitation strategies of the platform, a business plan considering the joint exploitation of Online S3 results and the exploitation agreement among partners that will include all decisions related to IPRs of the results of the project.

Online S3 platform design document and prototype

A document describing the platform software architecture, identifying its main components, how they are implemented and how they are integrated. A first version of the production infrastructure will be available in this document.

Online S3 mechanism for knowledge-based policy advice

A report describing the total architecture of the Online S3 mechanism comprised by the platform, the services and the interconnections among tools, services, data flows etc..

Online S3 platform, applications and tools

A final version of the production Online S3 infrastructure will be available in this report that also includes the interoperability and interconnections of the different tools and apps.

Execution of the pilots

A call text for the open call for two more pilot areas, reporting the selected strategy for the dissemination of the open call, the nature of call submissions and outcomes of the selection procedure, as well as it explains the process of experimentation with the platform and the services in Central Macedonia and Scotlan. The lead participant (RTDI) will assign the responsibility of reporting on each area of experimentation to its respective task leader. The report will present also the main conclusions from the use of the platform and services and the main recommendations for further improvement.

Applications and tools

The source code and the documentation of the second version of the tools, based on conclusions from the pilots. Both, code and documentation, will be hosted on the project’s repository on GitHub.

17 Scientific or white papers will be published in open access journals. A report containing the presentations and the feedback from the Training and final workshop.
