Hi-Park Solutions smart parking application Sir-Park (Smart Integrated system for Reliable Parking information, search and guidance) integrates computer vision technology and mobile devices to crowd source on-street parking vacancy data in real time thus helping to reduce the time spent searching for a vacant space. Cities can use the collected data for planning traffic and parking infrastructures. It is also suitable for car embedding. Its computer vision algorithm has been validated in a relevant urban environment, in the city of Tel Aviv (Israel).
Hi-Park Solutions Ltd. received a Business innovation grant for feasibility assessment purposes (phase 1) within the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. The objectives were to carry out a survey of European related regulations and specifications, a survey of potential partners, and to update the business and development strategy prior to demonstration and commercialization.
We have formalised collaboration with “Smart City” integrators: a large utility company and a global company offering IT services to plan joint operations (letters of interest received). Also, considering the existence of key partners for deployment and defined criteria, we selected three cities covering different climatic and regulatory operational conditions.
