Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The main objective of the action done was to allocate all necessary data and resources to take the next strategic initiative to introduce our platform to the multi-billion-euro market of SME and enterprise users offering them the following solutions: RemotS and RemotB2B.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

Our detailed feasibility study covered a number of task.
T.1.1: Market survey and analysis with desktop research (market reports) and information obtained from end-users; to expand initial market research: segmentation, market forces and competition. Target segments will be selected, with commercialization/dissemination plan for each
T.1.2: End-user studies surveys and interviews to estimate market penetration. Interaction with target clients to gather their preferences, willingness to pay (and acceptable price per target segments) -
T.1.3: Regulatory framework and IP protection – (subcontracted) freedom to operate analysis with regulatory approachability ranking. IP protection strategy (with trademarking)
T.1.4: Partners search – selection of technological, pilot, commercialization and dissemination partners in target segments
T.1.5: Commercial risks assessment and T.2.3: Technological risks assessment
T.2.1: User requirements – identify processes and constraints (use cases) in different market segments
T.2.2: Technical gap analysis – compare current technology status with user requirements and identify key features to be implemented (based on cost/benefits analysis, including scaling costs)

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

Phase 1 execution proved that our innovative project is feasible and has a great commercial value. Having determined the technological and commercial feasibility of the objectives studied in phase 1, we have prepared a detailed workplan to reach these objectives for phase 2 to mature the RemotMyApp platform solution to TRL9 route to market. Our objective is to provide the workforce of the future with a flexible delivery of applications and application/desktop environments in order to perform efficiently within out-of-office tasks (RemotS). Moreover, we are going to shortening the software development cycles in order to optimize costs – offering rapid apps publishing platform where apps will be customised and streamed directly to companies’ customers (RemotB2B).
