Objective

This research project is intended to study the possibilities of producing blast furnace slag with controlled porosity (high or low) values, thus increasing the economic and technical advantages of this material in the construction industry. Laboratory and industrial testing will determine slag treatment and suitability for both pre-cast products and ceramic tile production.
