The valorization of BOF slag in combination with urban waste

Objective

The promotion and valorization of BOF slag is the main aim of this collaborative research project. Potential uses in the agricultural and civil engineering domains, especially for the very fine fractions, will be studied. The BOF slag will not be used alone, but in combination with either incinerated or composted urban waste which reduces leaching of heavy metals.
