Objective

The aim of this project is to attempt to discover the reasons for cross-bow formation in different process phases (mechanical properties of the material, strip geometry and internal stress conditions will be considered). Special roll arrangements will be developed to allow plastic strip deformation and testing will be carried out in production trials. No counter-measures are currently available for cross-bows.
