Objective This project is aimed at improving the efficiency of pickling lines in terms of capacity and total quality while reducing environmental impact. This will be carried out by inductive heating of the strip in the pickling tanks in order to increase the pickling rate. The quality of the pickled and downstream surface will also be improved through the introduction of monitoring and other control actions in a coupled "pickling line + cold rolling mill", and also through the analysis and optimisation of the major pickling and rinsing parameters.
