Objective
The research will examine how the modification of the shape of rolls can have a specific action on the distribution of residual stresses and work hardening. The data required to optimise the straightening rollers, their geometry and their distribution will be determined. The results make it possible to define and test strategies so as to influence the final properties of large flang and webb beams.
