Objective

The research project is aimed at investigating the relationships between microstructure and mechanical properties of interstitial-free steels used in continuous annealing in order to be able to control precipitation. The project will undertake work on a laboratory scale in order to investigate further the effects of hot and cold rolling conditions and annealing parameters on precipitation.
