Objective
In this project two problems will be examined in international cooperation: defect detection and measurement of the thickness of the shell. The two tasks have to be carried out by the same measuring and control process, including components. The aim is to design and test an electromagnetic ultrasonic measuring and inspection system that can be used in steel-making both to detect defects and to measure the thickness of the shell.
