Objective

the aim is to improve the determination of elements present in low concentrations in thin surface layers and the determination of trace elements in solid samples of metallic materials. The project will also study the spectrometric aspect so as to increase the sensitivity of the luminous discharge method (hollow cathode) by adding an excitation source (e.g. microwave) to the lamp.
