Objective
The objective pursued by this research work is the development of a technique for detecting when the roll drive of the finishing stand in a wire rod mill is running under no load. The work will focus on two main aspects: - methods for calculating the dynamic behaviour of rotating machinery; - the vibrational analysis of rotating machinery.
