Objective

The aim of the research is the systematic analysis of wide plates with regard to the local loading situation and the evaluation of fracture mechanics toughness requirements. By variation of components and flow geometries, different loading situations will be simulated. This research will be undertaken in close collaboration with projects P 2673, P 2675 and P 2622 included in this memorandum.
