Objective
The aim of this research is to improve our knowledge of the relationships between the chemico-physical state of the surface and the quality of the metal-paint alloy with a view to modifying the continuous annealing process. The material to be examined is the flat rolled product for deep drawing subject to different industrial annealing cycles. The materials as such are characterized both by the quantity and quality of surface contamination and by the chemical and physical characteristics of the surface. Examinations of phosphatized samples, which have subsequently been painted will supply the elements for the assessment of the metal-paint alloy.
