Objetivo

This research proposal is aimed at quantifying the effects of friction on the final properties of formed parts made of zinc or zinc alloy coated sheets. Simulation tests and experiments on a modular tool shall provide tentative general rules to optimise the friction parameters for improved performance of final pressed components.
