Objective

The aim of this project is to study the characteristics of a composite with steel sheets, as resistant elements, and a non-ferrous material (Zn, Al, Pb-Sn alloy) as a matrix. Mechanical properties, corrosion behaviour as well as formability and workability in rolling will be evaluated as a function of materials selection and process parameters.
