Objective
A demonstration unit for continuous ore unloading of barges on an industrial scale - 2000 tonne/hour (equivalent to 2 grab unloaders) - will be designed and constructed under this project in order to evaluate costs linked with feasibility and operations (energy, maintenance, repair, labour and environmental). This project has two aspects that provide positive environmental impact - decreased dust emission and energy savings.
