Objective
During this demonstration project the main objectives are to design, install and operate a low pressure system to control the liquid metal flow from the outlet of the tundish of a slab caster machine to demonstrate the benefits in terms of product surface quality and cleanness. In addition, the engineering and process control aspects will be studied and optimised to work in harmony with specific plant production requirements.
