Objetivo

Much higher frequencies (max 8Hz) can now be applied to the proposed new mould, due to a 60% weight reduction of the moving parts in combination with resonance effects generated by leaf springs and hydraulic actuators. The hydraulic system also allows non- sinusoidal oscillation to be imparted. The advantages of this system will provide an improvement in the surface quality of continuous cast slabs.
