Objective

This is a collaborative research project between three Community countries aimed at developing new methods of testing domestic combustion appliances and fuels used in the European solid fuel heating market. The project is aimed at achieving accurate and reproducible quantitative measurements of dusts, creosotes, S02, N0x and CxHy emissions from a variety of fuels and appliances together with accurate measurement of output and efficiency.
