Experimental measurement of UT field using laser interferometry and air coupled techniques

Report on (1) the use of laser interferometry for imaging of the ultrasonic guided wave in composite plates and (2) the possibilities to combine the air-coupled ultrasonics and laser interferometry for the detection of defect in composite laminates;

Modelling of measured thermal signals in case of arbitrary excitation and for opaque and semi-transparent samples

Report on the developed models to calculate the thermodynamic limits of spatial resolution as a function of depth for different excitation patterns among which coded excitation, by using different boundary conditions and bytaking into account the influence of the noise
