- Collection, analysis and processing of 733 feedbacks, of which 397 prior the event and 336 during and after the event, and conduction of 209 interviews (39.6%) in Banja Luka, of which 162 (22.1%) prior the event and 128 (17.5%) during the event;
- Main conclusions:
o Typology of respondents: 46,1% male and 53,9% female;
o Overall positive feedback about the events themselves (activities, interest, contacts with researches, concrete organisation, schedule, venues and locations);
o Most successful activities: those with a high interactivity character, such as conversations with researcher, high school competition, interactive activities and workshops for children, star gazing and mobile planetarium, counselling and information about international education and careers, interactive experiments (forensics, chemistry, archaeology) and science fair, quizzes, games and competitions; activities with focus on the activities addressing children and high school students.
o Increased awareness about the importance of the role of scientists (75%);
o 63% of visitors of the event stated that the event made them think about the role or importance of scientists;
o Opinion on scientist: cultivated (93,2%); clever (over 95,8%), hard -working (86,3%);
o Profession of a researcher scored 7.2 out of possible 10 points, which is considered as “good and very good” (score is consistent with the data from 2016 and 2017);
o General audience expressed willingness to recommend the event (87%) and readiness to come to next Researchers’ Night (88%);
