New Hybrid Thermoplastic Composite Aerostructures manufactured by Out of Autoclave Continuous Automated Technologies

Deliverables

Communication Pack for the project legacy

This deliverable will include the dissemination materials which will be used by all partners in events performed after the end of the project.

Technical/Economical benefit assessment report

Outputs of this deliverable, responsibility of UPAT, is a fully parametric cost analysis of the manufacturing/welding processes under development, optimal set of process parameters which leads to minimum cost that satisfies the design and quality requirements, along with the allowable process windows for each process, as well as proposal for critical concept reviews on the possible modification to be applied to consolidate the process at industrial level.

First technology benefit assessment report

Outputs of this deliverable, responsibility of FNM will be a first technology benefit assessment report including a comparison between costs/savings for processing and performance of the new material.

Engineering evaluation of test results

Outputs of this deliverable, responsibility of FNM will be a final engineering evaluation report for all the chain of manufacturing processes involved in NHYTE process.

Identification of the Demonstrators

At first, a technology representative demonstrator will be selected based on previous experiences on conventional composite aero-structures. Then, it will be provided a documentation including all the potential advantages & improvements achievable in terms of weight savings and manufacturing cost flows, by using the automated chain of processes (AFP ISC, IW, CCM) herein proposed.

Initial Communication Pack

The initial communication pack will include the project logo, poster, leaflet, presentation and deliverable templates.

Public website and Social Media groups

The NHYTE public website and the project’s social media groups will provide information about the project, its objectives, challenges, and expected results. In addition, they will be regularly updated with the project’s progress and achievements keeping constantly updated the “NHYTE Community”.
