Objective Aims of project: Design and installation of the necessary means for the centralized control of a regeneration plant with a view to improving working conditions and safety for the persons operating the plant. Analysis and evaluation of the necessary modifications to the regeneration plant, particularly with regard to automation and operating procedures, with a view to reducing accident risks and nuisances to operatives and incorporating all the recommended modifications into a control room modernization project. The research will be conducted at the pickling line regeneration unit at the SOLLAC works, Fos (France).
