Objetivo
The objectives are:
- the development and provision of a mobile investigation unit, which make it possible to locally:
investigate the selection and suitability of the emulsion treatment methods and;
adapt the treatment of waste oil emulsion mixtures to the existing process engineering possibilities.
- the development of process combinations enabling an adequate treatment especially of the new generation of cooling lubricants and the recycling of separated phases, the application of which would make it possible to use the demulsification water:
as process water or;
to discharge it in public sewage treatment plants with biological sewage treatment or;
to discharge it in public waters.
- the elaboration of recommendations for the selection of cooling lubricants and emulsions and for the optimization of the operation of demulsification plants.
