Our clients first select the container route, and then the size and quantity of the containers; after this, one carrier is chosen from the list provided, optional insurance is added, and finally they select a customs broker at the destination port. The clients control the whole import process by selecting their preferred carrier, insurance provider and customs clearance agent at the destination. The current response time for logistic companies is around 12 days (from the Freightos “mystery shopper” report) and they demand high commissions.
