Summary of strategies for large batch synthesis

One of the aspects of WP2 is the synthesis of larger batches of TADF host materials. In this deliverable, a summary of different investigated synthetic strategies will be given.

Comparison of measured and calculated emission characteristics of emissive core structures.

One central part of WP1 is to find new, small emissive core structures for the shielded emitters. For the efficient design and choice of these structures, calculations of emitting properties on a large number of Arenes will be carried out. This deliverable will report on the comparison between these calculations and measurements of selected synthesised cores.

Model of energy transfer available

Model to simulate energy transfer inside an OLED, based on transition rates for emission, energy transfer, and non-radiative deactivation while taking into account the Purcell effect inside the anisotropic OLED as well as donor / acceptor orientation distributions.

Revised emitter characterisation set-up

Analysis and comparison of different emitting systems e.g. fluorophores, phosphors, TADF, shielded emitters.
