Liquid erosion test rig

LACEM will develop the liquid anti-erosion test rig in order to be able to characterize the coating in terms of erosion resistance. The test rig will have to produce water droplet with a 0,3mm diameter. These droplets will impact the sample surface with a 220 m/s velocity at an angle of 0 and 30°. This test rig will then be installed in RESCOLL facilities and used to characterize PILOT solution during the duration of the project.

Dissemination and Exploitation Plan

Project results will be presented during exhibition shows, congresses and shared via publications in the “the new smart-coating” journal. A description of the targeted congress and exhibition shows are presented in the table 2.2b in the “exploitation and sharing data” paragraph. Dissemination will be done targeting the coating industry for aeronautic and spatial applications. For Bluestar Silicones the dissemination will also be done through the expertise of the local cluster Axelera by organization of innovation days, worshops ... or via the management of the dissemination through EU internet access portail.

Literature review

A report, which presents all relevant information for the updating of the two solutions and the main conclusions will be sent to all participants.
