The main objective of the partners of this proposal will be to offer quality innovation-support services in order to enhance and strengthen the technological and innovation capacity of selected SMEs in the region. The expected end result of the services is that the technological and innovation capacity of the client SMEs will be significantly increased for a number of SMEs. “Enhancing and strengthening the Research and Innovation capacity of potential SMEs in the region covered by the participant partners” will be the main objective of this work programme.
The specific objectives of the partners within the framework of the support services will be to:
• Promote the importance of innovation, R&D, and entrepreneurship to the SMEs,
• Promote and ensure that the SMEs realize the growth that they could achieve through Innovation and R&D,
• Ensure that the clients recognize the main tasks of H2020 and SME Instrument effectively,
• Provide clients with quality support so they fully exploit their innovation potential in an international business environment with increasingly interlinked industrial value chains.
• Stimulate SMEs to create partnerships by stimulating cross-border and cross-sector collaborations,
• Assist SMEs to connect with research and innovation partners across the EU and third countries,
• Raise awareness of SMEs on the technology transfers and IPRs,
• Introduce and guide SMEs to knowledge transfer and technology integration,

To overcome to these problems, consortium performed and organised many information events, advisory services, company visits and monitoring visits to increase attention and encouragament of the SMEs. To increase performance and results, Southinnogate targetted and focused on increasing the interest, relevancem and curiosity of the SMEs on technology transfers, IPRs, innovation, R&D and entrepreneurship. Succes stories were told and it is aimed to raise attention of SMEs on innovation.
