The report contains an assessment of liquid metal corrosion for candidate materials and welds for the LFR reactor. Due to malfunctioning of LECOR loop a substitute facility was employed in October 2020 and 8000 h out of 16000 were lost. The tests in the new facility are progressing at 550°C with oxygen concentration of 10-8 wt.% according to the specifications and will end in October 2021 with a maximum time of exposure of 8000h . To compensate for the reduction in lead exposure time, it is proposed to integrate the data produced by the BID1 facility with the microstructural characterizations of the oxides grown in lead produced by ENEA as part of the JPNM in-kind project MOLECOS. These are microstructural characterizations with RAMAN, TEM, SEM and x-ray diffraction techniques. The data collected evidence a defined behavior in temperature as well thus allowing to establish a temperature regime for safe operations of the austenitic steels in molten lead. accurate characterizations of the oxidation processes of the steels in HLM providing information that can be transferred/extended to the austenitic alloys 316 and 1515-Ti. We believe that the elaboration of the deliverable D4.2 based on the tests in the BID1 facility, the characterizations of the in-kind JPNM MOLECOS and associated with the tests in flowing lead carried out by the project partner CV REZ will provide the expected output for the designers of the lead-cooled systems that originated the experimental program of the GEMMA project
