Deliverables Demonstrators, pilots, prototypes (12) Kitchen scales (pilot) Kitchen Scales (Pilot). Implementation of a cutting block / kitchen scales using integrated electrochromic displays. The created appliance will be evaluated in a user study under a variety of real usage conditions, including use in professional contexts. External critical components will be either monolithically integrated with the EC display, see D3.1 description, or hybrid integrated, e.g. conventional components integrated on plastic and/or HPL. Current state EC devices delivery Delivery of EC films and devices using available EC materials to early implementation in T2.3, T2.4 and for internal dissemination. YNV, FRAU and COC will produce Monochromatic electrochromic films using their existing EC technologies. Various film sizes (from 10cmX10cm to A3) will be produced using S2S (YNV) and R2R (FRAU, COC) techniques and distributed to design partners. Smart running shoe Smart running shoe (Pilot). An electrochromic display will be developed and integrated into smart shoes. The display will be linked to a control system embedded in the shoe and connected wirelessly to other sensors.
