This deliverable will provide a functional description of the overall system architecture and a preliminary evaluation in terms of technical feasibility, deployment considerations, and KPI related performance.

This deliverable will provide a state of the art review on the functions to be developed in T4.1, T4.2 and T4.3, as well as an initial design of these functions.

Relationships between Orchestrators, Controllers, slicing systems (opens in new window)

This deliverable lists our results on how to design and realize, along with interface definitions, the relationships between orchestrators, controllers, and – potentially external – slicing systems. It contains some first simulation results for scalability.

Initial report on Data Plane Programmability and infrastructure components (opens in new window)

This deliverable will provide the initial with complete specification of the platforms for programmable network functions that will be designed in tasks 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3.

Final report on Data Plane Programmability and infrastructure components (opens in new window)

This deliverable will provide the detailed implementation of the programmable platforms, interfaces, and infrastructure components and will give a quantitative assessment of the performance achievable with the developed technologies.

Integration of developed functions with 5G-PICTURE orchestrator (opens in new window)

This deliverable will describe how the developed functions are integrated with the 5G-PICTURE overall system, including the orchestrator defined in WP5 and the communication primitives developed in T4.2. In addition this deliverable will contain an evaluation of a service chain integrating some of the functions developed in T4.1, T4.2 and T4.3, namely a service chain including functional splits, transport network slicing, and synchronisation primitives.

Auto-adaptive hierarchies (opens in new window)

Concepts, interfaces, algorithms how to realize auto-adaptive hierarchies. Quantitative results. Proof-of-concept implementation.

5G and Vertical services, use cases and requirements (opens in new window)

This deliverable will provide the definition of the ecosystem that the 5G-PICTURE is aiming to address. The 5G and vertical services, use cases (rail, IoT, Stadium and Mega Event, and Industry 4.0) anrd their requirements that 5G-PICTURE will support will be described in detail and an analysis on how these influence the KPIs of the overall architecture will be given.

Intermediate report on Data Plane Programmability and infrastructure components (opens in new window)

The D3.2 deliverable will give the detailed architectural description programmable platforms developed in tasks 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3.

Specification of Vertical Use cases and Experimentation plan (opens in new window)

Specification of vertical use cases and scenarios to be demonstrated in Tasks 6.3 and Task 6.4 and the experimentation plan comprising the tests and KPIs to be executed in the testbeds and vertical sites for evaluating the solutions of 5G-PICTURE.

This deliverable will describe the potential business cases/models and the overall exploitation strategy, including partners’ individual exploitation plans and assess the market impact of the project.

This deliverable contains the outcomes of the second reporting period.

Vertical services, architecture and final evaluations (opens in new window)

This deliverable will report the refined 5G-PICTURE architecture together with a detailed evaluation of its performance through modelling and simulations focusing on a set of KPIs as well as cost and energy consumption analysis.

Integrated prototype (across tasks and work packages) (opens in new window)

Functional prototype of an auto-adaptive, multi-version capable, integrated controller/orchestration system.

Vertical Demo and Testbed setup and initial validation results (opens in new window)

Report on the setup and deployment of the developed components over the testbeds and the two vertical cases sites. Results from initial validation tests will also be included.

Final Demo and Testbed experimentation results (opens in new window)

Detailed evaluation report of all developed subsystems under the realistic scenarios defined in D6.1. Both results from the experimentation in the two testbeds and the two vertical demo use cases will be documented.

Data Management Plan (opens in new window)

This deliverable will evolve during the lifetime of the project in order to present the status of the project's reflections on data management. Special emphasis will be provided in publishing Open Access (OA). See section 2.2.4 for more details.
