As dissemination to policy makers UBAH will arrange a visit by the ESRs and any project partners interested to PV and displays lobbyists in Brussels such as Solar Power Europe and Lighting Europe The aim of this visit is to furnish these groups with information on how barriers to exploitation can be overcome The exact timing will be determined at course H

ISOPHOS 2019 Summer School

This school is part of the International School on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics series that takes place annually. It will be shared with other projects related to Maestro. Course TE5 (D4.3) will be linked to this event, making it accessible to scientists from outide Maestro.

Large area printing techniques, sheet-to-sheet, roll-to-roll, module characterization, BIPV Accelerated Life Test part of the thin-film photovoltaic certification IEC 61646 using the SWUNI active classroom (see summary above). Printing technologies including practical sessions on how to deposit material using a range of advanced processes adapted from the organic electronics industry such as slot die coating. Integration of smart coatings such as photovoltaics into the building infrastructure Course H Communications skills, UBAH Troyer UOXF Snaith 1.5 days lectures and practical exercises Science writing, making presentations, using social media effectively, for different audiences: business, academic, public. Group exercise to write a scientific paper based on their work with the active classroom. Troyer will illustrate presentation techniques with a lecture on historical events and thinkers that produced core concepts in gender, sexuality, science and technology. He is a highly effective communicator through his media, schools and museums work and will give tips on how to explain research activities and thus develop new insights, thoughts and idea

TE2: Host: UJI. Castellon, Spain European Impedance spectroscopy IS summer school M9 5 days Course C IS 2 days UJI Garcia-Belmonte, Fabregat-Santiago, Mora Seró, BIU Meir Lectures and practical sessions. A prize will be offered for the correct identification of measured impedance spectra Impedance measurements: design of experiments, set-up requirements, computer-controlled instrumentation and signal registering, to data analysis procedures with the use of software packages for data fitting and visualization. Special attention will be paid to the relationship between such series, interfacial and recombination resistances or low frequency capacitances with the parameters that determine the performance of perovskite solar cells and how they can be affected by effects such illumination or degradation. Course D Life Cycle Analysis 2 days UJI Vidal, 3G Breen. Lectures and hands on usage of commercial software. Complete life cycle of materials and manufacturing technology, including legal, environmental, health and safety at workplace and recycling and end of device life, impact in climate change, toxicity, industrial and environmental safety, acidification, material depletion, cumulative energy demand, etc. Legal issues and regulations about materials used in the fabrication of perovskite based devices. Perovskite Seminar, HOPV2021

Linked to D47Maestros flagship event is the Perovskite Research Seminar a satellite meeting of Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics HOPV21 It will be held virtually the day immediately prior to it Graduate students postdocs and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education come together in a highlystimulating and nonintimidating environment to discuss their current research with special emphasis on unpublished results and build informal networks with their peers that may lead to a lifetime of collaboration and scientific achievement This seminar will be organized by the ESRs with the support of the HOPV21organizers ESRs will network with their peers engage in scientific discussions at the forefront of their field interact with leaders who may serve as mentors during their career and gain experience in organizing and participating in an international meeting

Impedance Summer School

This school is part of a series that takes place annually. It will be shared with other projects related to Maestro. Course C lectures and practical sessions and Course D lecures that are part of TE2 (D4.2) will be linked to this event, making them accessible to scientists from outide Maestro.

EU Forum initiated

Maestro will set up a European forum on doctoralearlystage research training in renewable energy technologies The Forum is based on the European Materials Modelling Council to which the Coordinator has belonged since its inception The Coordinator will run this activity with Aldo Di Carlo UTV The forums aim similar to those of Erasmus is to ensure that skills and qualifications provided by the forum members can be more easily recognised and are better understood within and across national borders in relevant subsystems of education and training and the labour market acquired through courses or other sources eg work experience outreach online learningThe forum will run a public website that groups can to join with links to related initiatives convene meetings advertise relevant events contribute to and organise symposia at conferences such as the Erasmus convened Future of the doctorate Riga 28290515 It will start at the Erasmus conference in May 2018 Maestro will create a European School for PhD Students on Third Generation PV 3GPV linked to the European Forum Its main purpose is to offer the label European PhD on 3GPV to candidates who successfully finalized a high quality scientific research program in 3GPV science and technology and have been awarded a PhD To obtain this label candidates will apply to the School NCSRD has established objectives Management Committee members Scientific Committee members rules for candidates procedures for application and label attribution collaborations with companies and SMEs
