OPTIMA newsletterOnline publication presenting the activities and promoting the key features of OPTIMA providing information on relevant activities in Innovation in Crop protection fieldA newsletter update will be delivered at the end of the project M46
First batch of practice abstracts for end-users"The resulting innovative knowledge and easy accessible end-user material from this project will feed into the EIP-AGRI (The agricultural European Innovation Partnership) website for broad dissemination. The end-user material to be produced contains a substantial number of summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format (""practice abstracts""), including the characteristics of the project (e.g. contact details of partners, etc). A full package of practice abstracts will be produced by the project, containing all the outcomes/recommendations which are ready for practice. A ""practice abstract"" is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (word count – no spaces; see below) which describes the main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. Guidance and templates for these practice abstracts are available on the EIP-AGRI web site: http://ec.europa.eu/eip/agriculture/en/content/eip-agri-common-format. A total target number of 30 practice abstracts is foreseen for the project. 10 are expected to be delivered in the first batch. "
New molecular diagnostic qPFD tool for carrot; genetic and biochemical candidates for host resistance for the three diseases; report of the most efficient plant defence elicitors or other biocontrol agents on Alternaria leaf blight, grape downy mildew andThe qPFD tool developed for carrot that will allow the screening of bioPPPs and give information about the plant resistance status will be reported Gene expression and metabolomic analyses after the application of selected bioPPPs will be also presented for the three diseases to identify metabolites involved in plant resistance mechanisms
Report on final evaluation of the IPM systemThis report will include the analysis of the evaluation sheets of the stakeholders endusers in the 3 pilot regions
Report on drift reduction technologies for the different crop-disease-PPP combinationsThis report will contain the methodology, the experimental procedure and the results of the assessment of different innovative technologies for spray drift control together with a selection of technologies that will be integrated in the three smart sprayers.
Report on the optimal combination of bio- and synthetic PPPs and IPM strategy for Alternaria leaf blight, grape downy mildew and apple scab in different geographical regionsThe optimum combination of bio and synthetic PPPs with decreased residue concentrations and the best IPM strategy for the 3 diseases will be presented
Report on the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis integrating Risk and Life-Cycle AssessmentThis report will present the methodological structure of this analysis and the results regarding the tradeoffs between health environmental and socioeconomic dimensions as a comparison between the conventional and the proposed system
Manual with guidelines for OPTIMA IPM system practice recommendationThis document will contain practical indications for farmers on how to implement OPTIMA IPM system in the field
Second batch of practice abstract for end-usersThe resulting innovative knowledge and easy accessible enduser material from this project will feed into the EIPAGRI The agricultural European Innovation Partnership website for broad dissemination The enduser material to be produced contains a substantial number of summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format practice abstracts including the characteristics of the project eg contact details of partners etc A full package of practice abstracts will be produced by the project containing all the outcomesrecommendations which are ready for practiceA practice abstract is a short summary of around 10001500 characters word count no spaces see below which describes the main informationrecommendationpractice that can serve the endusers in their daily practice Guidance and templates for these practice abstracts are available on the EIPAGRI web site httpeceuropaeueipagricultureencontenteipagricommonformat A total target number of 30 practice abstracts is foreseen for the project
Report on the evaluation and quantification of the efficacy of selected synthetic and bio-PPPsThis report will analyse the procedure of efficacy measurements and the results for the selected combination of bio and synthetic PPPs used in the field trials
