The final version of the platform to be sustained; based on experiences from iterative user testing spanning over 18 months; the deliverable also includes a tutorial for appropriate use, documentation and sharing. The final version of the documentation tool will contain the standard documentation procedures and certification for replication of open source healthcare solutions.

7.2 Interim Activity & Management Report

Activity Management Reports

D1.3 Final documentation of events, maker gatherings & trainings incl. Community Map

A final visual report from all the activities that took place while working with the local communities, from Meet-ups, experience workshops and presentations at global scale, highlighting special experiences. The deliverable will also report on the training experiences made during the final year. All communities that Made4You has established a collaboration with are visualised in a community map. The map will be incorporated into the Made4You platform.

D2.2 Co-creation Catalogue (incl. documented Open source healthcare solutions)

The teams of stakeholders - patients, healthcare professionals and makers - will co-design and co-produce open healthcare solutions fitting their needs. Each of their co-produced solutions will be published on the platform. At the end of the project 50 new open source healthcare solutions will be available on the Made4You website for further replication. Five open source healthcare solutions based on parametric design are published on the platform. These showcases inspire stakeholders to personalised solutions and demonstrate the benefits of digital fabrication.

D4.3 Final Impact Assessment Report incl. Impact Assessment Package

This report summarizes the evaluation results of the project and the validation of the overall impact at social, economic, political and technological level. It will also reflect on possible implications for future implementation of the Made4You approach. Performance metrics, guidelines and instruments for the impact assessment of the Made4Your approach.

D6.1 Legal and ethical inventory and in-depth analysis

This deliverable aims to provide early-on legal advice to the project partners in the conception phase of the project as to ensure that fundamental legal requirements won’t be overlooked. First a data protection impact assessment will be carried out and an inventory will be composed comprising all relevant ethical and legal requirements. (M1-M6) Second the fundamental legal and ethical requirements will be studied in-depth based on an extensive analysis of legislation, case law and doctrine. This analysis will result in a report suggesting how to implement privacy- and data protection-by-design principles in the Made4You project. (M6-M12)

D1.1 Engagement strategy & documentation of events

The engagement strategy describes the activities that will be executed to establish a collaboration with local communities and stakeholders. The strategy will be adapted towards the local context of the partner lab. A catalogue of events and formats will allow to transfer the experiences in the future. To support the exchange several formats for the gatherings of makers will be documented. These formats enable other Fab labs or makerspaces to host these gatherings and are organised thematically. The deliverable will include a visual report from all the activities that took place during Y1 while working with the local communities, from Meet-ups, experience workshops and presentations. An overview of ideas and prototypes that stakeholders have been designing and iterating during the Open Days, is included. In addition, the deliverable will report on the Open Call and its outcomes.

D5.3 White paper on legal guidelines

A white paper will be published on possible approaches to address legal aspects in co-producing open source healthcare solutions. The white paper will be made available through the project website in M24 and submitted for presentation at a conference for Co-Design experts (such as Participatory Design Conference, International Conference on Design Creativity or Social Innovation Research Conference). Next the publication will be distributed amongst key stakeholders including DPOs in designing, engineering and making companies and fablabs, healthcare professionals involved in co-design and local networks for industry representatives.

D5.4 Final Dissemination and Sustainability Report

This report will present the final plan for the adoption, exploitation and sustainability of project results and their sustainability for the future. It will also report on the awareness raising, outreach and dissemination activities. In addition, the deliverable will report on the moving exhibition. As the exhibition will be travelling to multiple locations, a video summary is developed to present and report on the activities, reach and communication impact of the exhibition.

D6.3 Validation and policy recommendations incl. Guidelines on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI)

D6.3 will comprise a legal evaluation report assessing the effectiveness of the legal guidelines and providing recommendations to remedy legal, ethical and policy related barriers to the creation of an environment that allows for the flourishment of co-designed open health care solutions. The goal of this validation process is to ensure legal and ethical compliance in the created co-design solution and to provide participants with guidelines on how adopt and use the Made4You solutions. This publication will also present guidelines for responsible research and innovation processes. It provides specific recommendations for this type of innovation projects.

D6.2 Implementation of the legal and ethical requirements

D6.2 will report on the implementation of the requirements that have been identified in T6.1. Through an iterative drafting process the distilled legal guidelines will be tailored to the specific needs of the maker communities and the patients/end-users involved in the co-creation process. This process will result in the production of a set of practical legal guidelines which distinguish between technical requirements and organizational requirements and which allow to establish role-based responsibilities in the maker community.

D7.3 Final Activity & Management Report D2.1 Open Healthcare Map v1

An Open Healthcare Map illustrates the base on a consistent, that is to say free of redundancies categories tree. It will be published online and contains the new open healthcare solutions (T2.2), existing solutions (T2.1) and provide the user feedback of the reproduction (T2.3).

D5.1 Awareness raising, outreach & dissemination report

The report includes a strategic outreach plan that will describe the different stakeholders and how we envision the community building; it will also include a summary of the main instruments designed for that purpose, e.g. CI, project website, contact databases, target groups specific outreach kits. It will also provide a summary of activities performed during that year, including information on the media coverage, KPIs for dissemination e.g. published articles, number of events and type of events, number of media partnerships, social media channels, documentation and outreach materials published under open license, quarterly newsletter, etc.

1.2 Training kit

The training kit consists of a definition of the ambition and goals. Furthermore, it describes the process, supported by formats, of participatory design process in open source healthcare solutions. Do's and Don'ts are included, lessons learned and best practices shared. Depending on the specific context of the target group, this kit can be adjusted. It will be openly downloadable from the Made4You website.

D4.2 Interim Impact Assessment Report

This interim report discusses the evaluation activities performed until year 2 and the corresponding results. It will include an in-depth analysis and mapping of the defined impact indicators on the project performance and inform other WPs on possible implications for the final project year.

D4.1 Impact Assessment Plan

This report describes the evaluation and impact assessment framework as well as the foreseen methods to assess the various project aspects. It will also include a set of potential impact indicators and report on first formative evaluation results.

D5.2 Adoption, Exploitation & Sustainability Report

Expanding the experiences gained during the events and trials beyond the currently involved communities is a key goal and requires a sound model for adoption and sustainability. Alternative crowdfunding, models for donations and social franchising will be part an important part of the model.

D2.4 Insight report incl. Reproductions

Final documentation of the applicability of open healthcare in practice and the documentation of lessons learned. The report will also include an update on the supported reproductions/replications of solutions provided on the portal including the replication feedback from affiliated partners.

D2.3 Open Healthcare Map v2

The final version of the Open Healthcare Map will be an interactive online map which can be updated easily and continuously by the community to be kept up to date. Community members can register and update the map.

D7.1 Data Management Plan & Handbook
