Cyber Security for Cross Domain Reliable Dependable Automated Systems

Project description

Reference architectures and components for autonomous systems

Automation and autonomous decision-making are increasingly being implemented in the automotive, health, and rail sectors. However, these solutions are susceptible to cyber-attacks. The EU-funded SECREDAS project aims to develop and validate multi-domain architecting methodologies, reference architectures, and components for autonomous systems used in automated vehicles, as well as in the health and rail sectors. Its objective is ensuring functional safety and operational performance. SECREDAS will analyse use cases that have specific requirements regarding security, safety, and privacy, and will create design patterns for testing security and safety concerns. Additionally, the project will focus on developing advanced secure sensing and processing components, as well as secure and privacy-protecting external communication technologies such as Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) and 5G.

Objective

Title : Cyber Security for Cross Domain Reliable Dependable Automated Systems.
Goal : SECREDAS aims to develop and validate multi-domain architecting methodologies, reference architectures & components for autonomous systems, combining high security and privacy protection while preserving functional-safety and operational performance.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme

Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
