MedZEB protocol

Short document containing the structure of the MedZEB Protocol (MZP), intended as a shared operative framework for setting up and enabling local supply and value chains, in order to guarantee the overall quality of the process and design performances (energetic, financial, environmental and well-being) according to the MedZEB approach.

MedZEB certification scheme outline

Short document containing the description of the MedZEB Voluntary Certification Scheme to be introduced Buildings Performance Institute Europe the MedZEB protocol MedZEB Voluntary Certification Scheme capitalizes on the Buildings Performance Institute Europe concept of building passport and evolves it in a way to link it to and not to take over existing Energy Performance Contract schemes while Energy Performance Contracts consist on an absolute assessment on consumption levels MedZEB scheme proposes the definition of individual renovation roadmaps focusing on a relative assessment in order to trigger an assisted pathway to deep and nearly Zero Energy Building standard including the opportunity of staged interventions and of alternative Renewable Energy Sources investments RESALTs see 132 when a casestudy inadequacy is stated to reach high standards through physical interventions

MedZEB protocol - Second Batch

This deliverable further develops the MedZEB Protocol definition and relevant features by focusing on the retrofitting intervention target the operational intervention alternative ie one stepstepbystep the level of analysis and the relevant certification The phases of the Protocol process scheme and the actors involved are described in detail In this respect the MedZEB Protocol reflects and supports the implementation of the HAPPEN Programme thus putting the MedZEB Approach into practice The framework of guarantees offered by the Protocol to the relevant stakeholders of the building retrofitting value chain is described in detail

Abacus of “renovation measures” at building and district scale

This long document will contain the results of the analysis carried out in Task 3.2 “Identification of integrated renovation measures”, where at least 150 integrated alternative/complementary Renovation Measures will be fully described, synthesized into a 12x12 “Renovation Measures” Abacus/Matrix. These “integrated Renovation Measures” will be assembled with an holistic approach, considering country-specific peculiarities, combined actions on the building envelope, technological systems and facilities, Renewable Energy Sources integration, Building Management Systems, Behavioral measures and also measures that can be applied at urban or district scale and are not specifically designed for buildings (shading, heat islands, de-sealing, breezes, Renewable Energy Sources, etc.) in order to maximize the impact of the overall intervention.

Report on proposed regulatory changes at different levels
