A detailed conference programme

This will include speakers, panels, all break-out sessions workshops and side events.

Conference Website

A conference website will be established. The website will be launched prior to event and accompany the conference before, during and after the event. During the event it will be an online stream of the sessions. Material and presentation will be available for download at the website. The website contributes to spreading the message of the project and the conference programme. Information about logistics will also be available for download at the website.

Art-book

An art-book will be created, entitled ‘Europe’s Transformation: Where People Matter’ as an output of the conference. The main idea is to have results of the conference and scientific ideas in a new comprehensive way, namely in a pictorial-artistic form. The target group will consist of people not yet familiar with societal transformation processes. In preparation for the art-book a nationwide competition among pupils aged 11 to 18 will be organized. For now, the art-book is conceptualised as a printed edition. It is considered to also prepare an electronic version of the art-book available for the general public. Presentations as well as the results of the World Cafés will be simplified, reduced to the core messages of the conference and illustrated in an art-book (see in further detail 2.2.a).

Collation of logistic elements

This document will include the Green Event Certificate. The event will be certificated as a green event if it fulfils certain requirements regarding sustainability. This will be proofed by the certificate. This delivery also includes screenshot of the online registration from the conference website, description of transportation and accommodations logistics from the conference website, all print materials, participants list, etc.)

Conference Documenation

This includes the documentation in terms of a life stream and recorded video published on the website.

Conference Report

The conference report will include a summary and conclusions from panels, break-out sessions and workshops. This report will include in it`s annex the GiT Newsletter (Fact Sheets, Dossier). Fact sheets and dossiers will be published chronologically before the conference to give an input as regards the contents. It will also include the invitation and save the date of the conference.

Updated and confirmed ‘dissemination and exploitation’ plan including a report on communication activities A ‘Call for Action’

A ‘Call for Action’ from the EAA together with the Steering Committee will be presented at the conference, coordinated with all participants and forwarded to the European Commission, once the conference has concluded. This ‘Call for Action’ will comprise the main conclusions of the conference in matters of policy options and priorities to be set as next steps as well as an outlook to future activities of the GiT-initiative. It will summarise the findings made at the plenary sessions as well as the interactive formats in the break-out sessions. The call for action will be transmitted to the European Commission in order to assure that ideas developed at the conference will be well received at European level as well.
