IMPLASER 99 S.L. is a Spanish company dedicated to industrial and safety signage for a wide range of sectors such as building, industrial design, road tunnels or railway stations. Since 2014 we have been developing IMPLAGUIDE, a disruptive smart safety signage system which provides enhanced accessibility, live location and personalized guidance for evacuation in emergencies, useful to all users, but especially to those with certain disabilities. It is an advanced and robust monitoring tool for control points within any space which also guarantees safety to all the professionals in the premises as it detects agglomerations or entries in forbidden areas in real time. IMPLAGUIDE will target Metro station operators and Commercial centers as their main clients, both in Europe and in Latin America. IMPLAGUIDE is at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 stage of development. The overall aim of the project is to take it to TRL9 and to market launch by 2021.
In this Feasibility Study, we have analyzed the implementation of IMPLAGUIDE. We have carried out research and analyses concerning various fields: 1) technical plan, 2) FTO analysis, 3) Commercial analysis, 4) Financial feasibility.
Among the objectives achieved we can highlight: analysis of the current state of development of our IMPLAGUIDE and the required future improvements, a deeper knowledge of the market needs and the competitors within it; the potential of our IMPLAGUIDE, both technical and commercial; the business plan to be followed to reach the market in the next 24 months.

Competing technologies in the market are either based on guidance systems without signage or conventional signage lacking guidance for the user. None of the current solutions are able to offer an integral solution directly addressing the customer´s needs in emergency crisis at public premises as our IMPLAGUIDE does: it increases safety, increases accessibility and lowers acquisition and operational costs.
IMPLAGUIDE directly increases accessibility and safety in public premises and evacuation in case of emergencies, especially for disabled people. It also enhances the signage safety efficiency in all public premises and implies a decrease in energy consumption (500 batteries saved per 10,000m2). IMPLAGUIDE, as digital and interacting system, is fully aligned with the European policies of smart cities the infrastructure and the people in the smart cities.
