Objective
The requested fellows will perform researches that enable development of next Knowledge Management (KM) based groupware application. As software development continuously demands close co-operation between development and research the fellow will base practical results on scientific research. The fellowship this way represents a high industry value and the fellow has the opportunity to build an example of industry take up of academic approaches. Five key enablers will constitute the interdisciplinary and intersectorial basis for global KM research approach of AWARE, directly implemented into the training programme. This programme will also provide them with knowledge on research management mainly based on practical experiences through their involvement in European or national research projects currently taking place at CAS Software. Finally fellows will be trained on rhetoric, presentation and negotiation techniques and time management. According to the specific need of the individual fellow and to their Personal Career Development Plan, an individual training plan will be set based on the existing training programme. Each fellow will be affected to one specific research group of CAS for the whole duration of its fellowship. The Multidisciplinary Research Group will both uptake fellows if requested and coordinate the whole AWARE project.
