Multi-dimensional Intervention Support Architecture for Gamified eHealth and mHealth Products

Public Disseminations

Project website ready in month 2: Website for dissemination to all interested parties. Feedback and dissemination will use the reports and presentations produced in WPs 2 to 6. Manage dissemination activities by collecting feedback from stakeholders in participant countries; producing a stakeholder handbook and recommendations (for end user groups, industries, policy and decision makers) using establish national networks in partner countries to inform the best and most appropriate ways of implementations of digital gaming initiatives. Information concerning the dissemination activities will be collated in the content management system Deployment of apps to app stores in month 24: Exploitation planning for the project outcomes with an exploitation strategy that defines a business development plan, future deployment and operation procedures for project partners and beyond. Deployment of the products to app stores and NHS app library. Workshops and Festival of Learning in month 24, 36: Organise public dissemination events to inform the general public and EU eHealth and mHealth sectors through the regional Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialization (RIS3) targeting development of innovative health ICT products and services. Workshops and Festival of Learning events are to be delivered in months 24, 36 and 42.

Game prototype development

Develop a prototype gamified physical activity engagement mobile game: The gamification framework will be tested by patient focus groups via the eHealth app. A procedural content generation technique will be used for use generated game content on social networks. The game will be focused on using connected digital features such as pulse oximetry and geolocation on smartphone to track the user’s activity, and how the user input will influence the game being generated. And the user data will be integrated into the procedural game content generation using social gaming for efficient and regular use.
