Case study/discussion document of methods used to reduce gender and diversity gaps in Smart Mobility

Case study/discussion document of methods used to reduce gender and diversity gaps in Smart Mobility

Media analysis report

The analysis is directed towards dominant images of public and private transport, on political priorities, conflicts and resistance towards change while focusing on the intersections between gender and diversity in transport. It will pay particular attention to discourses of Smart Transport and entrepreneurship and identify how problems and potentials are represented. The analysis will provide specific evidence for a diversity of gendered variations from East to West, North to South of Europe. Effects of uneven and unequal investments and facilities will also be addressed.

Comparative investigation of women’s employment in SM ecosystem,

Literature review and qualitative research case studies to understand barriers and opportunities for women in employment

Benchmark of Observatories related to TINNGO

Review of observatories or other facilities which deal with related issues to extract best practices and build synergies

Modelling and forecasting of gender employability for pilot cities

Report focussing on the upcoming opportunities and implications for skills shortages for differemt educational and career paths.

Policy paper on ethical issues related to gender sensitive Smart mobility

Policy paper on ethical issues related to gender sensitive Smart mobility

State of the art review of tools

Review of existing methods and tools for gender impact assessment and related tools in impact assessment and in appraisal.

Presentation of modelling framework of gender-disaggregated mobility

Presentation of modelling framework of gender-disaggregated mobility

Knowledge Maps of Gender Smart Mobility

As a result of the work of the hubs an extensive knowledge map is produced, which compiles the findings from the work of the national hubs. This reflects the current, Europe-wide state of knowledge and practical experience in the field of gender smart mobility

Gender and diversity bias in academic outputs in Smart Mobility

Analysis of gender diversity in research groups, sampling and outputs of academic teams and the potential of gender bias in research

Tool box to measure gender issues based around intersectional analysis

The tools will consist of specifications and gender equality indicators adapted for the transport infrastructure context, e.g. to measure infrastructure development projects

Workshop on gender and diversity in digital analysis

The workshop will educate all TInnGO project partners in applying gender and diversity focus in digital methods and agent-based modelling.

Establishment of the project’s Data Repository, Cloud Infrastructure and Services

The project will establish and maintain a global Data Repository to securely store pre-existing datasets in standard and common formats as well as to facilitate the targeted collection of new datasets from all national hubs, including relevant publications and research outcomes
