Romanian SMEs get a boost in international business savvy and opportunities
SMEs are key innovators vital to the competitive leadership and sustainable growth of the EU economy. However, they are often lacking in financial resources or breadth and depth of expertise and skills required to exploit their full innovation potential. The EU-funded PROSME-INN project is focussing on promoting SMEs in Romania's third macroregion (RO3), consisting of the Bucharest–Ilfov and South Muntenia regions. Specifically, the project is seeking to ensure their access to international business development services and international cooperation opportunities provided by the Enterprise Europe Network in the RO3 region. The focus is on key account management skills relating to their relationships with their customers.
Objective
PROSME services in RO3 region regarding SME Instrument support will ensure the delivery of “Key Account Management” (KAM) support services, enhance innovation management capacity and processes of SMEs, develop
and test PROSME partners capacities for consultancy services.
