Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

West-Mar Consortium composed of partners with two different type of structures like public, private institutions and their to achieve its targets by performing activities as projected in work plan.
KOSGEB Edirne , NKU Technopark are partners supporting partners of the project proposed.
The project aimed to offer integrated SME services of enhancing capacity of managing innovation processes and 'key account management' of successful SME Instrument applicants.
Under this project mentoring and coaching services offered to SME‟s. Horizon2020 (H2020) programmes and the project aims to assist the SMEs to cope with challenges of competitiveness.
Also; EEN was a key instrument to help support the internationalisation, innovation and competiveness of SMEs.
“Enhancing the innovation management capacity of SMEs” program strengthen of existing services and was built qualified staff in West Marmara Region Related to the Key Account Management for beneficiaries of the SME Instrument (KAM) services there.
So, consortium focused on providing services to enhance the innovation management capacities of SMEs.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

- 13 new firms visited for EIMC.
- Consortium partners gained new abilities and new interest areas.
- On the other hand ;consortium faced many problems during project and that had yield negative outcomes from project. Some of them were listed below;
- Due to companies resistance about diagnostic tool and prepatory system which has a detailed structure; activities were limited and achievements couldn’t be obtained in the project.
- Also Staff changes and maternity leave for the experts very badly affected the project. Since this project needs a qualified staff team, it was really difficult to adapt new staff and increase efficiency in project.
- SME’s were questioning the objective of KAM activities.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)
