Innovation capacity building in Ukrainian SMEs and enhancing cooperation with European SMEs

Periodic Reporting for period 1 - EEN-Ukraine (Innovation capacity building in Ukrainian SMEs and enhancing cooperation with European SMEs)

Reporting period: 2019-01-01 to 2019-12-31

The KAM services help start-ups receive the advice for scale-up of their companies and entry to new markets, IEMC services help to be companies more innovative.
Ukrainian SMEs got new opportunities due to the HORIZON2020 Program and our EEN-Ukraine Consortium to develop their innovation potential and open new world markets. KAM and EIMC services are the best ways for these.
During the implementation of this Project Partners of EEN-Ukraine Consortium encouraged and hand-hold SMEs to become more innovative throughout the "client journey". Sharing the results of our research and our Network partners helped businesses trigger new ideas. We also assist companies to collaborate within clusters on different innovation-related activities which eventually lead to wider access to innovative technology, helping them face global competition challenges more effectively. We paid sensitive attention to the implementation of the principle for identifying target EEN customers and proposed for them the suitable EEN services because the main result of EEN services is a satisfied customer. During the providing the innovation EIMC and KAM services under the H2020 Project we proposed for clients other EEN services, such as participation in EEN Brokerage/company mission events, information days/trainings, EEN profiles preparation and etc. In such a way we guaranteed the integration of the SMEs served under H2020 into COSME services. The 'hub and spoke' model helped us to design EEN services around a client/company, ensuring that the Network makes the best use of the resources it has and works better together with our clients to use and share services across the Network on the one hand, and across the local and/or EU ecosystem on the other.
Summarizing the results of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium in 2019, according to the plan it was foreseen in total 58 services, all of which were successfully done. So, EEN-Ukraine Consortium reached all planned indicators in 2019.
