Objective Thanks to our expertise as designer and manufacturer of grips, wheels and electrical function (buttons, trim….) for aircrafts for over 50 years, we want to continue to offer advanced solution for grips. Working with a system integrator like SAFRAN (topic leader) will be a real advantage to efficiently integrate future needs and optimize system integration of our advanced technologies. With 2021 Grip project, Crouzet will define, develop, test and validate technological bricks : low power buttons (switch, analog), visual indicator, hands-on/hands-off and information concentrator to reduce number of wires (space and weight optimization) and exchange information between Grip and calculator of inceptor. These will be integrated in a shipset of grip (left/right) that will be ready for certification. According to evaluation conclusion it could be a fly demonstrator. This project will contribute to maintain and reinforce CROUZET leadership in the domain of grips for aircraft by designing new features and new services. Combined with our industrial facilities loacted in France, we’ll be able to manufacture in volume and consequently widely offer (sale) these innovative solutions to the benefit of system integrators and thus aircraft manufacturers.
